The idea is to prevent locking up of torque converter prematurely which lowers driving comfort. There was a speedometer controlled lockup controller in the market was it was expensive, difficult to install and on top did not include brake relay, so you would buy it seperately.
This module measures the driving speed by GPS, compares it with the driver adjusted value and turns ON transmission lockup by powering the lockup wire with automobile supplied voltage once the speed is exceeded. When brakes are applied or speed is decreased below limit, it automatically unlocks the torque converter.
What you need is just to connect 4 cables and drive. No need for extra brake relay kits etc... Good for all lockup transmissions fed by 12VDC signal (200-4R, 700R4).
